FAQ

What does ‘private tattoo studio’ mean?

It means that we are able to devote more time to our clients. It helps us ensure your comfort throughout the whole tattoo/consultation/design process and means that we can work in a relaxed, professional environment without interruptions.

I don’t have an appointment, can I come to the studio for a walk-in?

No, unfortunately we do not offer a walk-in tattoo service. You have to make an appointment. We will always try to find appointment times that suit you.

If I am under 18 can I get a tattoo?

No, not under any circumstances. This is against the law even with parental consent.

Do you do home visits?

No, not under any circumstances – please don’t ask!

I want a tattoo but don’t have a design. What should I do?

We don’t work off ‘flash’ (tattoo designs). We will draw anything you want to ensure you get a custom tattoo that’s perfect for you.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Pricing is generally calculated based on the complexity of the tattoo and level of work involved. Please contact us to discuss details or for more information.

Do you do fix up work and cover-ups?

We are able to do this type of work, please get in touch for more information.

Does it hurt?

All tattoos come with a certain amount of pain. This varies from person to person and can depend on the location on the body. If you intend to use a local anaesthetic you MUST inform your artist before your appointment.

Do you accept credit/debit cards in the studio?

No, sorry, we accept cash only. There is a cash machine just round the corner in Queen’s Square.

Tell me about your hygiene standards?

Hygiene is of the utmost importance to us all. We go over and above sanitation regulations to ensure your safety and ours throughout the tattoo procedure. We work on a strictly one-use system, meaning all equipment used during your tattoo will be disposable as this prevents cross contamination.

How do I prepare for my tattoo?

Please eat before getting your tattoo. If you intend to use a local anaesthetic you MUST inform us beforehand. Please do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicating substances for 24 hours before your appointment. We take hygiene seriously and in return would appreciate it if you could too.
